International fun and games

We got information on traditional games that they would like us to play from India. We had to try and understand the rules and play the games successfully. In our last meeting we discussed the rules for each game and tried to understand how the games work and what is needed to play them. We went and collected the equipment to play the games from various departments around the school. We are going to play and record the games next week and hope to send off the recordings to India by the end of the school term. Have a nice summer.
Next update coming soon.

STOP PRESS

Our funding has been approved from the British Council. All UK partners are meeting in the next few weeks to move on to the next stage of our plans and begin arranging a trip to India. We are hoping to send 4 staff to visit as many Indian partners as possible.

Time for some real hard work to make sure we have made plenty of progress on our projects to share with the students in India.

Happy New Year!!

... to all our partners, both in the UK and India. We have enjoyed our Christmas break and are looking forward to sending all the Photo Stories to India in the next few weeks. We are also starting work on the next stage of our projects, finding out about the traditional games and sports of our partners.
