Ms Patel from Rushey Mead Secondary and Mr Wright from John Ferneley will be flying to India this Saturday to take part in an ICT conference. They will actually be visiting one of our partner schools in Hyderabad. Good luck to them on their travels. I am sure we are all looking forward to finding out about the trip when they return.

Yes, we had a fantastic time in Delhi and Hyderabad.The highlight of the week for me was the visit to our partner school the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyala - our welcome was overwhelming. The students were so friendly, polite and helpful. We saw them at work (and they work very hard!),we were treated to a dance and drama performance and we watched them playing their Indian sports and games. The timing of our visit to India couldn't have been better- although we didn't get to see the Olympic Torch - it was there in Delhi. However, we did get to see "Delhi Daredevils" versus "Rajasthan Royals" in the T20 cricket match.
I am very much looking forward to working withstaff and students in the future.
