INDIAN LINKS FOR SCHOOLS

A city secondary school has established links with six schools in India.Rushey Mead School, in Leicester, is working to develop two key projects on sport and culture and health and fitness.A spokesman said: "We aim to foster mutual understanding but also to share common health goals between nations."The Indian schools are widespread and will offer students a different perspective of India."Rushey Mead and Old Dalby primary schools and John Ferneley High School, in Melton Mowbray, are also involved in the project.Rushey Mead school will be updating its work in India on a blog, which is at: www.ukierirusheymead.blogspot.com
